Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

a new cafe is added into my favourite list!
went to this newly opened cafe last friday night, it is located just beside the
famous Lebuh Melayu wantan mee, opens 6pm-midnight from friday to sunday only.
the exact location of Halfwake is at the junction of Lebuh Melayu & Lebuh Toh Aka,
look for the very bright corridor with hanging lightbulbs!
friendly owner-Tho, this place is used to be a garment factory years ago!Halfwake cafe is at the 1st floor of a stationery shop. was told by the
stepping into this cafe is like rip us away from reality, we really love the interior
very much! its quite rare to find a steampunk concept cafe in penang, can see the
perfect combination between industrial design and the antique environment here,
the decorative items are quite simple but chic, dim lightings and muted colours,
definitely a comfortable place to enjoy and have a drink!
the al-fresco area is my favourite corner! imagine to have a drink and enjoy
the night scene with our beautiful komtar, very nice leh....
we were super hungry that night and wanted to try their pork ribs or potato cheese bomb
but both are not available that night, sad thing. the food are good and quite wallet-friendly,
i love the tomato soup and chicken gordon bleu very much! pan fried duck breast is ok too,
the spicy orange sauce is very nice!

many people have been asking me about the beautiful birthday cake that
we got for gary on his birthday earlier this month. frankly speaking, this is also
my first time seeing such beautiful and creative cake, specially designed to match our
colours of the night - red and black. many many thanks to the talented baker of Apple

was told that this cake is called a Treat Cake, not only looks super pretty and fun with
all sweet treats: pretzels, popcorn, cherries, oreos, maltesers etc and it tastes super good too!!!
